Not at all. You can come as you are. If you already have a sense of what you’d like to work on, that’s helpful — but it’s completely okay if you don’t.

It depends on your goals. Some people notice meaningful shifts within a few sessions, while others choose deeper work for long-standing patterns or trauma. We review progress regularly and move at a pace that feels right for you.

Yes. Everything you share in therapy is confidential, with a few legal exceptions related to safety. This means I may need to act if there is a risk of harm to you or someone else. Otherwise, you can speak freely and openly.

For privacy and professional boundaries, I don’t connect with clients on social media or in personal settings. If we need to communicate, we can do so for scheduling or practical matters. If we happen to see each other in public, I will follow your lead and won’t acknowledge you unless you choose to.

In-person sessions are available in downtown Toronto, near Bloor & Sherbourne. Full address and access details are shared once we begin our work together. Sessions also can be held securely online via a PHIPA-compliant platform. This option is available across Ontario and most provinces in Canada. Online sessions are just as structured, confidential, and effective as in-person therapy.

Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged at the full session rate. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis in situations that are genuinely unexpected and outside your control.
